Key Features

Self-Propelled Rolling Brush

The rotating brush head drives the machine forward automatically. Guide the pole and let the machine do the work — effortless push-pull operation for all users.

Dry and Wet Cleaning Modes

Dual-mode brush for effective dust removal (dry) and squeegee-like water clearance (wet). Prevents splash-back. No head change required between modes.

Self-Adapting Brush Angle

The brush head self-adjusts to the panel’s tilt angle, ensuring full contact and even pressure distribution. Prevents deviation and protects panel glass.

Pure Copper Brushless Motor

Rated to 10,000+ hours. No carbon dust, no brush wear — built for intensive field use. Significantly outlasts brushed motor alternatives with minimal maintenance.

Fully Weatherproof — IP67

Moulded waterproof motor and export-grade submersible-sealed connectors. Prevents water ingress, short circuits, and oxidation. Works reliably in rain.

Lightweight & Easy to Handle

Lighter than dual-head models — less operator fatigue. Aluminium alloy pole available in 3.5m, 5.5m, and 7.5m lengths with quick-lock mechanism.

Frequently Asked Questions

Will the brushes scratch my solar panels?

No. The nylon bristles are matched to the hardness of tempered solar glass. The self-adapting angle mechanism distributes pressure evenly with no point loading.

Can I use it without water?

Yes. Run in dry mode for routine dust removal — simply don’t connect the hose. No modification required.

What panel height can I reach?

At a comfortable working angle from ground level, approximately 5–7m depending on roof pitch. The pole locks at 3.5m, 5.5m, and 7.5m.

X5 vs X4 — what’s the difference?

The X5 has a single rolling brush — lighter and more manoeuvrable, ideal for residential and smaller arrays. The X4 has dual counter-rotating heads for high-throughput commercial work.

Can I run it from a generator?

Yes, provided the generator outputs stable 220–240V AC. The included adapter converts this to 24V DC for the motor.

Is this suitable for steep roof angles?

Yes. The self-adapting brush angle automatically adjusts to the panel tilt, maintaining full brush contact on angled surfaces.

Bought an aluminum waterfed pole from Window Washing and I am super impressed with the build quality. I find the quality far exceeds the Chinese poles imported and supplied by many other companies throughout South Africa, believe me I have tested them all out for our solar cleaning company.
